For coaches/trainers looking to become an internationally recognised Strength & Conditioning Coach, it is important to be certified by an approved education provider. Over the last 7 years, KG Elite Performance have delivered our National Certificate in Strength & Conditioning (NCSC) course extensively throughout Ireland. During that time, the NCSC Course has now become the #1 Strength & Conditioning course for fitness professionals in Ireland.
The NCSC certification exam is only available to coaches who have completed both Phase 1 & 2 S&C courses. It is typically completed 4-12 weeks after completion of the Phase 2 Strength & Conditioning Course. The NCSC certification exam consists of:
- Multiple choice questionnaire (MCQ) written exam
- Olympic weightlifting practical exam

Multiple Choice Questionnaire (MCQ) Exam:
The multiple choice exam assesses all theoretical content delivered on both the Phase 1 and Phase 2 courses. The written exam is 60mins in duration.
Olympic Weightlifting Practical Exam:
The practical exam will assess coaches ability to demonstrate and coach either the Clean or the Snatch. Coaches will be also be assessed on their Olympic lifting “technical” and “coaching” models as derived from NCSC Course. The practical exam is 30mins in duration.
